My parents took all of us kids to the State Fair, today:-) TJ did fantastic! Our day started at 7:30AM and ended at 7:30PM and he had NO naps! We had SUCH a good time!! Can't thank you enough, mom and dad!
As for Matthew, he's doing ok....this time of year is always hard. Almost done but it can't get here soon enough. I have my count down started...nerdy, yes, but I can't help it!! We have 42 days left!!!!!!! I can SEEE the light:-)

So, I was cleaning my car today when I realized my sidekick had disappeared!?! I found him right where I thought he'd be....in the mud!!! SUCH a boy:-)

Tim and Angela's Wedding 8-8-09

Well, my little brother is officially married off!!! We are so happy to have Angela as part of the family:-) The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony was at Grace Lutheran in Apple Valley and the reception was at the MN zoo...sooo cool! We had family memebers in town, that I haven't seen in 5+ years!!! I was so happy they were able to meet TJ:-) Tim and Angela are on their way to Jamaica...LUCKY bums!!!!
Matt is in Utah...haven't heard from him since Friday so they must be deeep in the woods;-) We are hoping to meet in San Fran when he gets off this tour, too! We missed him at the wedding....but TJ was a great fill in on the slow dances!

TJ and I got back yesterday morning. We had such a great time. Matt picked us up from the airport at about 11pm on Saturday and we drove half way to Napa. The next morning we headed up to a campground in St. Helena...a town just north of Napa. It was 102 degrees so we just set up camp and jumped back in the truck...we headed straight to the wineries! TJ didn't like the heat AT ALL, it was hilarious (kinda;-))! Every time we'd open the truck door or walk out of a store he'd start shaking his head noooo and pitchin a fit. Once we were done at the wineries it was still very hot so we headed to the Old Faithful Geyser. The boys were lucky enough to catch some mist when it erupted! After some ice cream we headed back to our campsite...once the sun went down it was peeerfect! The next day it was very hot again so we hibernated in a hotel close to the airport. TJ and I left that evening at about midnight. He was great on the plane this time, thank goodness!!
Matt sends his love to everyone and cannot wait to get off in the fall! We're halfway there!!!!

Hello All!
TJ is going through a BIG transition right now! He mimics EVERYTHING you say, or at least tries to! It's hilarious! I cannot wait for Matt to hear him! Speaking of Matt, I THINK (keep your fingers crossed) we're going out this weekend to see him!!!! I talked to him over the weekend and he was almost certain that he'd have mandatory days off!!!! The first time this season, that's craziness! Anyways, TJ and I will fly out Saturday night. At this point Matthew doesn't think we can make it this time, so I can't wait to surprise him:-) We're gonna camp in Napa...TJ loves to sleep in the tent and I want Matthew to see that!

More Summer Days with TJ

YAY...I finally talked to Matt!!! Today was the toughest day I've had since he left and his call couldn't have come at a better time:-) I can try to handle not seeing him but not talking to him, too, MOMMY NO CAN DO! Anyway, he's till on the UT fire and they believe they'll be there for the next few days.
TJ on the other hand, is doing spectacular! Last night at dinner he was using his fork to eat!!!! Usually he just plays with it for a second and tosses it. He would watch me poke my piece of chicken and put it in my mouth and then he'd poke one of his peices and put it in his mouth!! I was so excited!!!!!! He only did it a few times and then he wanted to finish his with his fingers...his dad thinks food taste better that way, too!;-)
