Finally got around to loading pictures on the computer!! Camera's still not working very well but we make due! Posted some fall pictures! We went to Emma Krumbee's (Apple Orchard) a couple weeks ago. We had SO much fun!!! It was so great to watch Matt with TJ! They are so funny together! Over the past weekend we had Mike Saucier and his girlfriend Jamie over to carve pumpkins....I think the adults had WAY more fun than TJ!!! Who carves pumpkins intoxincated?!?! Good times! Anyway, all is well in our house hold. I just LOVE having Matt home :-) OH...I got a job!!!!! I am working at a group home in Burnsville. My SIL hooked me up BIG TIME! Hope everyone is having a wonderful fall....when it snowed last week I think we were the only people running around in it, smiling from ear to ear!!!

My camera isn't working very well so I haven't been taking pictures:-( It takes me 5 pictures before I get one that's focused. Anyway, Fall is upon us, here in MN, and I am lovin every second of it!!! I pick Matt up in 1 week and 6 days!!!!!!!!!!! TJ is fantastic! His new obsession is air planes....as soon as he's outside he starts pointing to the sky saying "er pane" over and over!! It's so cute:-) That's all for now....just wanted to let you all know why I don't have any new pics yet.

TJ and I spent the long weekend at FairHills with Kate Miller! We had SUCH a good time :-) It was a mom n' pop Resort which included 3 hommade meals everyday and every cabin activity you could think of! I told Matt all about it and I think we're all gonna go next year, too!!! Kate has been going for about 25 years! On Sunday night the staff puts on a show called the hootinany!! I think that word is so funny!

Hope everyone is doing well:-) Matt is coming home earlier now!!!! He'll get off on the 10th. We'll spend a day with friends in Tahoe and then head home!(Im flying out and driving back with him!)

Well, Matt's crew is still sitting at the Yosemite....doing project work. They're being held there just in case they need them. I told Matt, at least you have a beautiful view if you have to be stuck somewhere!!
TJ and I are heading to Detroit Lakes this weekend with Kate Miller!!!!! I am so excited. Its a resort called FairHills, her family has been going up every year since she was a child! We leave tomorrow AM and come back on Monday! OH AND....I know the exact date that Matt will be home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be home Oct. 15th!!!:-)

Hey Everyone!
A lot of you have been asking if Matthew's crew is in LA....their crew has NOT been called to those fires?? They are so frustrated watching things burn and they just have to sit there. He called his Great Grandma Dorothy to make sure she was ok....they thought she was going to be evacuated at some point but she wasn't, thankfully! (He's such a sweet man:-)) To all of our Cali family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will pray for rain....LOTS of rain ;-) I will let you know if they head down there....keep your fingers crossed that he is....if he's not then TJ and I won't see him until he gets home in Oct :-( It's already been 1 month and 2 weeks :`-(

My parents took all of us kids to the State Fair, today:-) TJ did fantastic! Our day started at 7:30AM and ended at 7:30PM and he had NO naps! We had SUCH a good time!! Can't thank you enough, mom and dad!
As for Matthew, he's doing ok....this time of year is always hard. Almost done but it can't get here soon enough. I have my count down started...nerdy, yes, but I can't help it!! We have 42 days left!!!!!!! I can SEEE the light:-)

So, I was cleaning my car today when I realized my sidekick had disappeared!?! I found him right where I thought he'd be....in the mud!!! SUCH a boy:-)

Tim and Angela's Wedding 8-8-09

Well, my little brother is officially married off!!! We are so happy to have Angela as part of the family:-) The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony was at Grace Lutheran in Apple Valley and the reception was at the MN zoo...sooo cool! We had family memebers in town, that I haven't seen in 5+ years!!! I was so happy they were able to meet TJ:-) Tim and Angela are on their way to Jamaica...LUCKY bums!!!!
Matt is in Utah...haven't heard from him since Friday so they must be deeep in the woods;-) We are hoping to meet in San Fran when he gets off this tour, too! We missed him at the wedding....but TJ was a great fill in on the slow dances!

TJ and I got back yesterday morning. We had such a great time. Matt picked us up from the airport at about 11pm on Saturday and we drove half way to Napa. The next morning we headed up to a campground in St. Helena...a town just north of Napa. It was 102 degrees so we just set up camp and jumped back in the truck...we headed straight to the wineries! TJ didn't like the heat AT ALL, it was hilarious (kinda;-))! Every time we'd open the truck door or walk out of a store he'd start shaking his head noooo and pitchin a fit. Once we were done at the wineries it was still very hot so we headed to the Old Faithful Geyser. The boys were lucky enough to catch some mist when it erupted! After some ice cream we headed back to our campsite...once the sun went down it was peeerfect! The next day it was very hot again so we hibernated in a hotel close to the airport. TJ and I left that evening at about midnight. He was great on the plane this time, thank goodness!!
Matt sends his love to everyone and cannot wait to get off in the fall! We're halfway there!!!!

Hello All!
TJ is going through a BIG transition right now! He mimics EVERYTHING you say, or at least tries to! It's hilarious! I cannot wait for Matt to hear him! Speaking of Matt, I THINK (keep your fingers crossed) we're going out this weekend to see him!!!! I talked to him over the weekend and he was almost certain that he'd have mandatory days off!!!! The first time this season, that's craziness! Anyways, TJ and I will fly out Saturday night. At this point Matthew doesn't think we can make it this time, so I can't wait to surprise him:-) We're gonna camp in Napa...TJ loves to sleep in the tent and I want Matthew to see that!

More Summer Days with TJ

YAY...I finally talked to Matt!!! Today was the toughest day I've had since he left and his call couldn't have come at a better time:-) I can try to handle not seeing him but not talking to him, too, MOMMY NO CAN DO! Anyway, he's till on the UT fire and they believe they'll be there for the next few days.
TJ on the other hand, is doing spectacular! Last night at dinner he was using his fork to eat!!!! Usually he just plays with it for a second and tosses it. He would watch me poke my piece of chicken and put it in my mouth and then he'd poke one of his peices and put it in his mouth!! I was so excited!!!!!! He only did it a few times and then he wanted to finish his with his fingers...his dad thinks food taste better that way, too!;-)

Grandma Orth's 70th Birthday Party

Hello my wonderful family and friends! Just a little update...Matthew's crew was FINALLY called to a fire! They headed to Winnemucca, NV for a dessert fire. They worked 1 HOT, 92 degree day and then headed to UT for a different fire. I haven't heard from him since they were called to that fire but I know he would if he could! TJ has 4 molars comin through, lucky me;-) He LOVES to read books, which is just shocking to me! We're gearing up for Tim and Angela's wedding, I cannot wait to see my brother get married to an amazing little lady!!! We had a wonderful day yesterday, out on the river. It was my grandma's 70th birthday party on a river boat, it was so cool!! I will post pics very soon:-)
